About me

Hi, I’m Andrea,
a photographer based in Bonn, Germany, shaped by travel, nature, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed.
I began taking photographs over 15 years ago, with early work rooted in wildlife and environmental storytelling. That path took me to places like Madagascar and into long-form visual projects, including work on a documentary for ZDF, experiences that deeply influenced how I observe, wait, and build stories through images.
My work today focuses on atmosphere, light, and a strong sense of place. I’m drawn to scenes that feel honest and unforced, often with a subtle human presence that adds scale, emotion, or context.
I create cinematic travel imagery and documentary-style photographs, guided by natural light, movement, and visual rhythm, both above and below the surface.
My projects are driven by curiosity and attention rather than trends, with an emphasis on images that feel real, timeless, and grounded in the moment.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually planning my next journey, studying photo books, or simply observing the world around me.
