EMPLOYMENT – TECHING EXPERIENCES /CONDUCTING

From 2004 and currentlly: permanent clarintet and saxophone teacher at the State lower secondary school of Bariano (BG), specialized in the individual and ensamble music teaching. Conductor of the school band for which I provide to composer and arrange specific score which allow students to be creative and develop their capabilities in estemporaney improvising.
From 1990 and currently:n collaborations like clarintet and saxophone teacher in priveted music schools.

PERSONAL MUSIC EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL GROWING

I started my clarinet studies at the age of 7 years and never , from that time , my passion for this instrument and its potentialities stopped to grow up

From the age of 20, my interest moved from classical music (soprano clarinet, bass clarinet and horn clarinet) to the Jazz area and I started studying barithon saxhophone getting at the age of ….     a second Bacherlor degree in musical learnings with specialization in the interpretative and compositive’s aspects of jazz music (the fist Bacherlow was got at the age of 19 in clarinet).

I cooperated , and currently cooperate with many chamber groups which allow myself to realize an   intense activities of research and follow-up works specifically for the classic and contemporary clarinet quartet repertoire.

At this regard from 1988 to 2004 I have been component of the “QUARTETTO MARTESANA”, a magnificien clarinet quartet, which was, in 1993, the only an exclusive Italian rapresentative at the Congress Palace of Transburg during the event “European clarinet’s days”.

The QUARTETTO MARTESANA perforemd also during the events MUSIKMESSE in Frankfurt, and at the CLARINET FEST organized by the International Clarinet Association, playing in Lubbok (Texas), Ostenda (Belgium), Budapest (Unghery) and Pechino (China).

I played also for many chamber and Jazz ensable in the main Italian Theaters ( Filodrammatici Theatre (Milan), PAC (Milan), “Pavoni” Theatre (Perugia), “Puccini” Theater (Firenze), “La Fenice” Theater (Venice), “Romano” Theater (Verona), “Ponchielli” Theater Cremona, and this to mention only a little part of the many Theatres where I got the pleasure to make experience.

I made also some clarinet and horn clarinet in-depth studies realizing with my group a monografic CD called “DIVERTIMENTI NOTTURNI” published ANTES, concerning the Mozart production for trio of horn clarinets. I am pleased and proud to puntualized that to this project it has also taken part Mr Antony Pay who took part to the recording as much as some public concerts.

I performed in many Italian Orchestras, both as clarinet and horn clarinet player and many w cxere the Mozart’s requiem for which I collaborated.

Fashinaed by the artistic expressivity of the group “ART ENSAMLE OF CHICAGO” I decided to extend my music knowledge and expressive potentiality in the Jazz area, extending at the same time the range of played instrument to saxophones, specifically the ones of the lower range (bass and bariton sax). Important was at this regard my University studies to get the second Bacherlor in “musical learnings with specialization in the interpretative and compositive’s aspects of jazz music”.

I attended many master and workshop on improvvisation, armony in jazz, andscore analysis, where teaches were big Italian names as B. Tommaso, A. Cavicchi, B. Cesselli, F. Petretti, T. Tracanna, G. Azzali, L. Bragalini and many others.

My personal artistic reference point concerning music sensibility and poetic are: TONY SCOTT, ROSCOE MITCHELL, HAMIET BLUIETT, JAN GARBAREK

In addition to the teaching activities, I organize also many musical events by the use of different kind of music and style, (classical music, jazz music, creative music..) where I performed in the most different manner by the use of different instrument, range of sound, kind of sound and executive styles. In particular Jazz execution in the larger senso of this term,   allow myself to move in a freedom contest where   improvvisation and estemporaneity are the main protagonists and the musician with his personality and feeling becomes “pure music”.
